Description:
Opidol 25 premix is a coccidiostat that halts development of sporozoites or trophozoites of Eimeria spp. and act against the electron transport system within the parasite mitochondrion. It does not allow natural immunity to develo, so it shoud be administrated continously
Indications:
Opidol 25 premix is effective against most species of coccidia in poultry and rabbits. For
prevention of coccidiosis in chickens and turkeys, in broiler, layers and breeding flocks tied
exclusively for cage keeping. Clopidol is active against E. tenella, E. necatrix, E. brunetti, E.
maxima and E. preacox.
Clopidol is one of the few drugs used to control the disease in rabbits.

For prevention: 500 gm Opidol 25 evenly mixed with one ton of feed (125 ppm) from the first day of age till the age of 16 week. For treatment: 500-800 gm Opidol 25/ ton immediately after the beginning of first clinical symptoms to be fed for 2 to 4 days. Rabbits: 800 gm Opidol 25 (200 ppm)/ ton of feed to be fed continuously.Contraindications:
Opidol 25 premix should not be used as feed additive for layers after 16 weeks of age. Opidol 25 premix should not be mixed with other anticoccidials.
